My Top 5: Artists to Breakthrough in 2017
2016 is over. Woah ! Where did the time go ? This year was filled with Lil Uzi, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage you name it, but who is up next ? A new year means new faces and ALOT of new music.
Here is my list of Artist to Takeover 2017. A year from now you're going to thank TGF for putting you on ;)

5. 24hrs
24hrs is an up and coming yet rather very lowkey ( until recently ) hip hop artist. Through listening to many of his tracks on soundcloud it is clear to see that 24hrs does it ALL. Constantly bringing a new sound whether he sings, raps, or produces on work! The military baby was born in Japan and later moved to Atlanta where he started making music at a very you age. He has popped up on tracks with artists like Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign and Gucci mane. He recently dropped a project with his IRL ( in real life) brother Madeintyo "24hrs in Tokyo" Its actually kinda hard to distinguish who is who.
4. Nav
Nav is a producer/rapper that is dripping into the game rather quietly. He is very lowkey on social media (@beatsbynav), although his Soundcloud tells us a bit more through music. Hailing from Toronto, this XO signee has made appearances on Travis Scott's Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and on Belly's Insomonia. He is definitely one to keep and eye on for 2017. I found out about Nav through listening to some of his songs on OVO Sound Radio, so I'm guessing he has close ties to the OVO team and the 6 God... OVOXO ?
3. Roy Woods
Many people only know of Roy Woods from his single "Drama" ft Drake. But trust me this guy is soon to BLOW. This 20 year old OVO signee is destined for greatness in 2017. The Canadian is a rapper/singer/songwriter that is bringing Caribbean R&B/Soul to light this past year. In his video "Gwan Big Up Yourself" you are emerged in the incredible vibes of Dance Hall through sound, visuals and dance. This whole sound has been emerging in Hip Hop from Rihanna's Work to Drake's Controlla. Woods recently released 7 track EP titled "Nocturnal"
2. UnoTheActivist
If you listen to Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Mob or Playboi Carti you definitely need to check out UnoTheActivist if you haven't already. Uno aka Yung Shyne is making noise in Zone 3 Atlanta and is definitely generating a little buzz after starting a mosh pit along side Carti in their single "WHAT" . Im not quite sure how he came up with his name but with co-signs from creatives like A$AP Bari and rapper Key! He will definitely make his claim to fame in 2017 whether through fashion or music. This is a VLONE THUG to keep an eye on.
1. A Boogie
A Boogie With The Hoodie has a sound never heard before. He is "Not a Regular Person" Having the Singer/Rapper combination is hard to come across nowadays but Boogie never disappoints. Born Artist Dubois from High Bridge, Bronx, New York City he has definitely took the industry by surprise. From opening for Drake at Madison Square Garden to news on an upcoming mixtape collab with the veteran Zaytoven "Artoven". HighBridge the label is going to be a force in the new year, alongside fellow artist and label mate Don Q, this dynamic duo will be unstoppable. A Boogie is heading to stardom in 2017 and you can "Bet On It" (w/ PnbRock) Check out his latest EP "TBA"
